Introducing Clint Greenwood, Cres Cor Health and Safety’s Newest Consultant

Battalion Chief Clint Greenwood (ret.) has been in the fire service industry for over 35 years. He began his career with the Oklahoma City Fire Department on May 29, 1987. During his career, Clint was awarded the Oklahoma City Fire Department Officer of the Year Award, Fire Station of the Year, Commendation for Bravery, Fire Service Award and the Clyde Benn Service to Youth Award.

After September 11, 2001, he played a key role in developing Oklahoma's Hazardous Materials Regional Response System, training and establishing 16 Hazmat Teams and 22 Decontamination Teams. This initiative led to the creation of the Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security. As a consultant, he continued to contribute to Hazmat Safety, Planning, and Response.

Clint proudly served over 30 years on the Oklahoma City Hazardous Materials Team, and 21 years as the Hazmat Officer in charge. He was the Hazmat Director for the Oklahoma City Metro area, responsible for training Hazmat Technicians and leading the Regional Response Team.

As the Battalion Chief of Safety for the Oklahoma City Fire Department, Clint oversaw the safety of over 1,000 firefighters and civilians, creating and implementing safety programs with minimal supervision.

He also founded a hazardous materials consulting and training business, demonstrating strong leadership and planning skills. After retiring, Clint spent a brief tenure at the Oklahoma State University Fire Service Training as the Special Operations Programs Manager.

Clint has been married to his wife, Brenda, for over 38 years, and they have three married sons and seven grandchildren.

We are honored & proud to welcome Clint Greenwood to the Cres Cor Health and Safety team as our new Consultant. He will primarily serve as an Industry Advisor to Cres Cor Health and Safety, help develop and deliver educational programs for Fire and EMS responders on biological hazards and safety.  Additionally, he will assist in ensuring the successful adoption of Cres Guard by Fire and EMS departments. This will involve collaborating on the development of procedures that integrate Cres Guard seamlessly into daily operations. His expertise will be a great asset as he champions Cres Guard’s benefits at industry conferences and tradeshows.
